It's not fair

Prince is dying, he's not aging. Every weekend when I come back to Edina from being with my parents in Woodbury, Prince has gotten sicker and skinnier. He's aged so fast in the past 5 months that I know this just isn't normal. Eventhough M said she took him to the vet, I'm still going to take him tomorrow morning. I just can't live with myself if I don't take him there myself and hear it straight from the vet.

I feel so guilty that I didn't do this sooner. When I pet him after work I can feel his bones and the thought of my dog dying lingers in my head as I walk downstairs into my room. Even though I carry on with my nightly activities on the computer and forget about his condition, I am reminded of it again the next day. I feel like he has been trying to get help from me for god knows how long but I've simply ignored him, just like everyone else. I'm taking him to see the vet tomorrow.

Photo gallery in the making

I'm getting a new photo gallery system set up so I can better organize all the pictures I've taken with my digital camera. It's still being worked on but here it is... http://photos.zhoudynasty.com.

Time does not wait for anyone

Julie and Alan are married now, seemed like it was just yesterday that I was still doing Chinese dance with her...

Kyongdo and Diana have moved to Chicago now, seemed like it was just yesterday that I was still doing Chinese dance with her...

What's going to happen next? Actually I can already predict but I prefer not to think about it...

Bill or Billy

Bill or Billy? What's better for my professional career? Over the weekend we had the 50th anniversary celebration at our company in which a video was shown to all employees and their family. The video was a compliation of our employees from around the world talking about what it means to work here. I was in the video, but since I was in Boulder I wasn't able to attend the celebration. That's good because I felt awkward during the video shoot and wasn't looking forward to seeing myself on the big screen. Anyway, I got back to the office today and people who saw the video thought it was great and some of them started calling me Billy... Because for some reason, my name in the video showed up as Billy rather than Bill.

Raw oysters and IPA

Boulder is awesome, both during the day and night. I'm glad they've sent me to entertain the Chinese guests. We're staying at the Boulderado, which is right in downtown Boulder and a couple blocks away from the happenin' Pearl Street. Today we went through the art fair and checked out the farmer's market. With a high of 101 degrees, even those umbrellas from China weren't enough to keep our guests cool, they ended early to take a nap.

I felt a little bored sitting in my room watching TV and "Over the Hedge" (good movie) so I went out for a little drinky myself. I found a nice place called Boulder Cafe and odered a pint of locally brewed indian pale ale and a doze of fresh raw oysters. The IPA was perfect for the warm evening, crisp and hoppy. My Chesapeake and Kumamoto oysters were phenomenal, they were so fresh that I could taste the difference in each of them.

Sitting outside in the warm evening air while drinking locally brewed IPA and slurping down some fresh oysters and watching a street show makes really makes this a nice vacation. Too bad I don't have any one close to share my oysters with, more for me I guess.

College buddy married

I went to Leu Vong and Ah's wedding reception on Saturday and had a great time. I hope to attend more Hmong weddings in the near future.

Leu Vong and Ah are the perfect couple and I think many others agree.

My 3 words that describe Leu Vong: Humble, Cheerful, Caring
My 3 words that describe Ah: Friendly, Affectionate, Considerate
