123456

Yesterday our Nissan Pathfinder hit 123,456 miles so I took a picture of it. Hey I know it's geeky but these kind of things only happen once!

You suck American health care system

I went to get a complete physical checkup back in April. They checked my weight, height, urine, my balls, gave me a shoot and a blood test. It sucked but I was like whatever because I have insurance now and it's been forever since I've gotten a checkup, plus I wanted some prescription for my never-ending ear infection.

Well today, I received the bill. Six hundred two dollars and fucking thirty-two cents! If you read my blog enough you know that I rarely use profanity online except for when I am more than pissed off like the time someone stole my motorcycle. Jesus Christ, what the fuck is insurance for in this country?! Without insurance I would've had to pay $701, wow saved me a whole $98.64, I should be thankful. I am NEVER going to see the doctor AGAIN unless if my life is in grave danger.

Maybe I should summon my FOB gangsters to get my money back...

Graduation pictures

I've been meaning to get these up but they've been stuck in my camera which was taken to China for a month by my dad. Dad, Amanda, Christina, Me, Uncle Mimi, Uncle Steve, Cheng Hong
Look at that, someone finally graduated. No more BS, free at last.

Good Weekend

I didn't do much this weekend but it was good. I felt like I'm fully recharged and ready to take on another week of work. The weather was absolutely perfect today, it reminded me of the weather in Hawaii. Jimmy's BBQ was pretty fun on Saturday but too bad it rained and we all had to move inside.

Been a long week

Actually the past 3 weeks have been crazy at work. My calendar now looks like something I could never have imagined when I was an intern. This week is by far the worst as I just got done with 5 days of non-stop training. Being at training this long is terrible to my productivity, it's like taking a 5 day vacation and getting nothing done except it's worse because training is nothing close to vacation. I need to get re-energized because it's going to get worse for the rest of this month and next month. I'm too tired to even drive home right now, I think I'm going to sit here in silence. Friday's late afternoon silence is very comforting.

Hit by a golf ball

I got hit by a golf ball today while playing 9 holes with Josh and Al. As we were getting ready to tee off, we heard a "fore!" and as I turned around I heard a ball flying through some branches and leaves and in a split second it landed right in my lower back. I was stunned a bit and just stood there as I thought to myself "what a shitty shot". If that ball had hit me on the head, I think I would have a huge bump on my forehead right now. We let those dangerous golfers play through and on the following hole, Josh almost hit them with his drive. Try harder next time Josh.

Work X-Men Prince

Wow work is getting busier than ever. Just when I thought I've been workign at 100% capacity, I work even harder. Those good old days of taking my time, surfing the web and looking for work to do are over. Nowadays I barely get anytime to do anything outside of work for longer than 10 minutes. No wonder I've been coming home feeling crabby and tired all the time. At least I can come home to someone and not just a computer with Counter-Strike on it. Although, a computer with Counter-Strike on it is quite important too. Amanda and I saw X-Men 3 tonight, it was pretty cool. She doesn't like watching movies and it's a pain in the ass convincing her to go watch one. But if she does watch a movie she usually gets pretty into it and enjoys it. Not much to say about this X-Men flick except that it wasn't exactly like the comics. I can't wait for Superman though, that movie is going to rock. Prince is getting better. We've been feeding him like the doggie gourmet now. His appetite seems to be back and he's not sleeping as much as before. Although it looks like he lost more weight, I think he's underweight now. I hope he sticks around some more so that when I come home from work there is always someone who walks up to say "oh it's you again, thanks for waking me up you jerk."

SPECIAL DAY

My lost friends...

Steven Blakemore, Jeremy Goins, and Mathew Nelson, where are you guys? Steven, Jeremy and Mathew were my closest friends for my first 4 years in America. I really long for these friends that I left in AZ when I moved to MN, I wish we would've kept in touch. Back in 1994 when we moved to Minnesota, the internet wasn't so widely available, actually I never even knew about it. I kept in touch with my friends through writing actual paper letters. Over the course of a couple years, some of us moved and that's where the connection broke. I hope to reunite with them again someday and everyday the chances are greater due the world getting smaller.

Today is the day

I'm beginning a new chapter today. It's got a new character and promises to deliver some more interesting stories.

Rainbow Resort Fishing

We caught a lot of fish at Rainbow Resort and caught even more sun. Here are some photos from our Memorial Day weekend getaway. There's me and my 2 pound and 6 ounce largemouth bass. There's Mom with her two crappies. The larger one was 1 pound and 15 ounces, the biggest one anyone has caught at the resort.
